What’s cuter than a girl and her horse?  Little Ms. Cally obviously loves her pretty paint very much.  She’s one of the CUTEST little cowgirls that I’ve ever seen, and was happy to show off her beautiful smile.  Now, because Blog posts are really all about the picture….here’s little Cally!

I hope you love your sneak Lora! I’m having a blast working on the rest of the images, I can’t wait to show them to you. :)

I just adore this girl – I’m pretty sure she already knows, but just in case I thought I’d mention that.  I’m avoiding thinking about her going off to college this fall….and instead focusing on all the fun we had with a mountain of clothes, some awesome props, and creative locations.  Enjoy the images – they’re unique, special, and pretty dang awesome.  Just like Chelsea. :)

A quick reminder with these two photos – beauty is everywhere.  It’s all in how you see the world. :)

Happy Thursday!!

You saw their engagements…and their wedding…and their anniversary photos.  After all that, words can not describe how excited I was to take these fun photos!  This lucky baby is going to have so much love in it’s life.<3  And how fun is a photo announcement?!

Have a great weekend!!

If you’re a fan on my Facebook page, then you have no doubt seen Haleys pretty face already.  If your not – you really should be! :) Facebook fans usually get first crack at casting calls and any specials that I run.  Plus you get to play the “Guess the Photo” game that I do every now and again – it’s harder than it sounds! :D

Now onto the images – beautiful light, beautiful location, and a stunning model – what more could a photographer ask for?! :)

Make that two beautiful locations….

I hope you all have a wonderful Monday!!

Guess who beat the rain this morning? We did!!  As I’m processing this sneak peek, there is thunder rumbling out the window, but the light earlier this morning was fabulous to photograph this beautiful family.  Here is a quick sneak peek. :)

Check out Ms. Rileigh and her stunning peepers!  She is a camera natural.

And she reeallllyyyy loves her mama!

Have to have one of mom and dad together in the sneak. :)

Tabitha, I hope that you love the sneak and I can’t wait to get the rest done.  You have a gorgeous family. :)

Spring is here and love is in the air!  That’s right, it’s wedding season!  Brides everywhere are planning engagement sessions and delving into wedding planning.  We had a lot of fun with Nikki an Brandon’s engagement session, and I really love the outcome.  I’m always glad when we can fit in more than one location in a session, and for theirs we fit in three!  Enjoy the images!

After a little time at this awesome barn,  these Cards fans changed into some baseball appropriate clothing and we made a quick visit to the baseball field. :)

Finally, we took advantage of the awesome sky and headed to an overgrown field for some nature portraits. :)

Nikki and Brandon – I hope you love your sneak!  Thanks for being awesome sports, and I can’t wait to show you the rest!

I was so glad it was warmer this morning than originally forecast.  It was a little chilly, but not too chilly for this beautiful family.  I had so much fun hanging out with them, and the morning light gave us some gorgeous images. :)  Check out their gorgeous eyes – seriously every one of them has seriously beautiful dark brown eyes except one, and his are a fantastic clear blue! :)

I hope you all have a wonderful Easter!

What’s better than photographing a beautiful couple on a beautiful weekend?!  Following up with a beautiful child of course!  And even better than that….how about three gorgeous children?  Spring has sprung and portraits are well under way.  You may remember Violet from last fall playing in the leaves, and also her cousin Skylar who we all loved dressed as the adorable clown.  They’re back and they brought along Skylar’s big brother to join in on the fun!  We also had some help from a couple of adorable pups along the way. :)

Finding the perfect dandelion is serious business!

Can you find Violet??

There she is, showing off those stunning blue eyes!

Henry had to check on Violet. :)

I would like to say that we positioned Lucy by the swing in this photo, but can take no credit.  She did it all on her own!  Puppies need camera love too. :)

Be sure to leave these cuties some love in the comments! :)

I love to photograph love.  Being around people in love just makes you feel good, and I’m so fortunate that a huge part of my job is photographing couples. Carl and Juanita will be married twenty years tomorrow, and while I obviously didn’t know them twenty years ago when they married, I can’t imagine that they could have loved each other more than they do now.  I think that they are a great example of love getting stronger as time passes.  It was an honor to spend time with them, watch them make each other laugh, and to capture the fun. :)

A big thanks also to Alice from November Rain Photography for assisting with this session!

Carl and Juanita – Happy anniversary!!!  Thank you so much for choosing me to document this special event for you.  I have many more images, and I can’t wait to show them to you!

Yep, you read that right.  We took a trip to Paris.  Ok, maybe not really but we sure did a good job pretending!  When Chelsea said she wanted a styled session, but didn’t know what she wanted, I asked her what her dream date was.  She then asked Shane where he would take her, and he said a picnic in Paris.  Now, let me tell you – Paris is a tall order for a midwesten photographer to create.  However, with some creativity, imagination, and flexibility we found a way. Enjoy the images! :)

What’s this? A gift??

Seriously the best cake ever – if you ask nicely maybe I’ll share the recipe. :D

Checkin’ out the map!

How fun is she?! :) Check out those earrings!

Such an adorable couple :)

Happy Monday!!! :)
