I could spend most of this Blog telling you how much I love this family – and still wouldn’t be able to explain it. I’ve known them since I was tiny, so I was super excited to take Lizzy’s photos. :) She is one of the happiest babies I have photographed – even when she was exhausted she didn’t cause a stir. She simply went to sleep. :) And, as you will see….she was even cooperative while asleep!

Diane, Kayla, Melinda…I hope you love the sneak – I can’t wait to show you the rest! :)

Happy Cyber Monday everyone!!! :)

I am truly thankful for all of my clients, and for the fact that they become my friends through the process of capturing their portraits.  I hope you all have a wonderful, blessed holiday with those that you love the most. <3

And here’s a couple of images to make you good and hungry for tomorrow. :)

Have a wonderful holiday!!!

I have a lot of veteran’s in my family, so this day has always been special to me. Today marks the first veteran’s day without my grandpa, who was a World War II veteran. I thought the most appropriate blog for today would be a tribute to some of the veteran’s in my life that I adore.

My grandparents are both World War II veterans. They met, and married while in the service. Grandpa was army, and Grandma was Air Force.

All of my Grandpa’s brothers were also in the service. I don’t have recent photos of all of them, and I don’t have photos of most of them on this computer but I am also thinking about them of course.  I do have a recent photo of the one I see most often, and that is still with us. :)

And of course one of the most humble veteran’s that I know, and am lucky enough to call my cousin. :)

And one more cousin – not yet a veteran but an active member of the U.S. Army that already has a tour to Afghanistan under his belt. Love him so much, and super proud of him.

Sometime throughout your day today, thank a veteran, or hug a veteran.  And when you vote, or speak your opinion freely, or just look around and realize that you are free to do whatever your heart desires within this county it is because of these brave men and women.  The sacrifices they make don’t end when their enlistment does. The things they go through, and the events they witness forever change them and their lives. And they do it for us. <3

I think Violet makes the top three of the happiest babies I’ve ever photographed. Everything made her giggle, especially the leaves, which is awesome for fall portraits. :) She had her mom, her dad, and fall leaves. One happy Violet – check them out!

Amy, I hope you enjoyed your sneak – I can’t wait to show you the rest! : )

This baby is a true miracle. After spending tons of time in the NICU with her, her mama and daddy finally have their baby home where she belongs.  :)
