I had the honor of shooting an absoultely gorgeous wedding last weekend. I’m sure that you remember Jen and Lenny from their awesome engagements on the farm. If you don’t, check them out here. The church they were married in was a gorgeous little country church, and the florist did an amazing job of playing up its charm, and creating a beautiful setting.

The beautiful bride getting ready for her big day:

and a glimpse of that stunning dress:

Jen loved her Grandma very much, and incorporated her memory into her wedding ceremony. <3

First kiss as husband and wife

There was so much genuine love at this wedding – every single person there wanted the very best for Jen and Lenny. Celebration was in the air when they exited the church!

Then we snuck off for formals before the reception. Between the beautifully decorated church, and the country church yard at sunset the possibilities were abundant.

I also stole the bride and groom away from everyone for a while to get some special photos of just the two of them.

And since we have the first kiss, what would this blog post be without the first dance?

Jen and Lenny – photographing your wedding was an honor. You are surrounded by many wonderful people in your life, and I just know that you are going to have a thoroughly happy life together. Jen, I have known you and your family for a long time, but am always amazed at what loving and kind people you are. I’m blessed to know each and every one of you. And Lenny, I know what a special day this was in many ways for your family. I’m so thrilled I got to be a part of it, and delighted to meet your wonderful, and extremely musically talented family. You guys were amazing! I wish you both all the happiness you can handle, and can’t wait to hear about your honeymoon! <3
One of my favorite things about family shoots is being able to watch the family interact with each other, and get a feel for the dynamic, and the bond that they share. And then capturing it of course. :D This family was so much fun, and obviously very close. I’m so glad I got to spend some time with them, and capture their bond.
I’ve known Brian for a very long time. About seventeen years in fact, so to finally get to meet his beautiful family was awesome. :) They are even more awesome for getting up and ready and meeting me for an early morning session to take advantage of the yummy morning light.
Brian, Dee Dee, and Lindsay – thanks for being such awesome subjects, and I hope you love the images in your sneak I can’t wait to see you to show you all the proofs!

I’m thinking that avid followers of my Blog probably feel like they’ve seen Brylyn and Brenna grow up. Remember their last session? Here’s a little reminder.

They’re not that small anymore! They are nearing a year old. Hard to believe huh?! Oh, did I mention that this family love the Bears? Cause they do!

I hope you all have a wonderful Monday!!
